On Saturday, April 24, 120 guests gathered on campus for ARTS’ second graduation for twelve graduates from six East African countries. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020 and 2021, the 2020 graduation was postponed from December 7, 2020.
During September to November 2020 and January to mid-April 2021, the ARTS Administration and Faculty were very busy in preparing some thirty-five courses, mainly Directed Studies courses, to enable graduation candidates to fulfill graduation requirements.
Come and Odette Rutegamihigo, husband and wife graduates from Rwanda, unable to attend due to the border closure, did watch their graduation via Zoom, through the smartphone of their son who attended and “stood” for his parents.
