ARTS Students…
Come from thirteen countries: Burundi, Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and USA;
Speak English (the language of instruction) but also speak several other languages that include tribal languages, and often Swahili and French;
Come from a number of denominations including African Inland Church, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Independent, Pentecostal, Presbyterian Church in Uganda, Reformed Presbyterian Church of Uganda, African Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Kenya, Presbyterian Church in Malawi, City Presbyterian Church of Zimbabwe, and the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan;
Make a credible profession of faith in Christ as Savior and Lord and have a genuine desire and internal call to serve Christ and His church;
Are seeking to be trained to serve Christ’s church in Africa as servant-leaders and as pastors, preachers, biblical counselors, church planters, evangelists, and educators;
Desire to make a significant impact for the gospel through the church and to see society transformed;
Have a hunger and thirst to grow in their knowledge of Christ and the gospel of grace, are serious about the high privilege and arduous task of studying the Bible, understanding the truths that the Bible teaches and how they connect to each other, learning from church history of how the church has addressed problems and issues in the past and applying Scripture to the church and to all of life;
Are endorsed by their church to study at ARTS and to pursue training for gospel ministry.
